Rocksteady has done some great work for comic book gamers. The Batman: Arkham series is one of the most revered out there. For the first time in many fans’ eyes, it directly puts you in control of the Caped Crusader. From his utility belt to his martial arts abilities, it was an unprecedented amount of immersion for the character. It only makes sense that gamers would be wishing and waiting to see what their next big game would be.

Thanks to a post from Rocksteady Games itself, we now know what that is. The official Twitter account posted an interesting image. In it, we see the familiar Man of Steel, but with a very peculiar set of crosshairs on his head. Also, it’s worth noting that this doesn’t look like a standard Superman, but one that has been tainted with evil for some reason. Is it Bizarro or something else? Regardless, fans seem dead set on this being a Suicide Squad vs Justice League-type game. Check out the official image below.

No other details came out about the game, but it doesn’t sound like we’ll have long to wait. According to the tweet, we will learn more on August 22, during the DC FanDome event. Who knows how far along they are, but I’d imagine at least a cinematic trailer is something we’ll be getting. And if we can get something more? Whoo, that would be something.

I don’t know about you guys, but I was initially not really onboard with this special DC FanDome event. But, considering all the talent and projects they plan on bringing, it’s enough to get even the most jaded DC fan a little bit excited.
