Actor Tony Burton, who is perhaps best known for his role as Duke in the ROCKY series has passed away, TheWrap is reporting. The actor was 78 years old.

Apart from the character of Paulie, Duke was one of those characters who managed to find his way into each of the original six ROCKY films, first as Apollo Creed’s trainer, and then as Rocky’s.

There has been no comment on what Burton passed away from, but regardless, Hollywood has lost a great talent. May he rest in peace.
