Actress Rosario Dawson appeared to second a suggestion by Charlie Schneider of Emergency Awesome who had the wonderful idea to cast Dawson as a version of a most beloved Star Wars character, former padawan to Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano.
The character was one of the best parts of the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Ahsoka quickly, her spunky and somewhat rebellious nature quickly made her a fan favorite and who quickly rose up the Jedi popularity ladder. You can check out the tweet below.
Just for reference Ahsoka Tano would be in her early-mid 40s during #TheMandalorian pic.twitter.com/UbXCqsWKYl

While I would be up for Dawson to give the role a shot, it seems a good number of fans would like to see Ashley Eckstein in the role. Eckstein has become synonymous with Ahsoka due to her providing the character’s voice as well as her overall enthusiasm for young Jedi lovingly called “Snips” by Anakin. It’s not likely Eckstein would be cast in the role, even with her longtime association with the character. To be honest, I just hope Ahsoka is in some way part of future Star Wars content.
