With two trailers already out for 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool 2, we still do not have an indication of what the plot of the film will be or ever who the villains are. All we have seen is a lot action and comedy. This has lead to a rumor starting about one of the characters in the film.
It was reported on Meet the Movie Press by Jeff Sneider of The Tracking Board that Jack Kesy’s character was no longer in the film. As far as his character is concerned, it was rumored that he was playing an obscure villain named Black Tom. His character was supposed to have been cut by the post production director David Leitch.
But thanks to sources from Collider we now have information that although his role in Deadpool 2 has been reduced, it has not been cut completely from the film. Co-writer for the film Rhett Reese took to twitter (see below) to also debunk this rumor. It is speculated that there have been re-shoots to add additional scenes with both Cable, played by Josh Brolin and Domino played by Zazie Beets and this could have cut into some of Kesy’s screen time in the film.
