The upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could be a big turning point for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The possibilities are infinite. It’s possible if not likely Marvel will use the film to introduce recently reacquired characters. A new rumor making its way around the news world posits the film will indeed utilize the multiverse to do just that.
According to their source ( that has been correct on at least two other Marvel scoops) the outlet GiantFreakinRobot, the film will introduce Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, and Namor the Sub-Mariner. As some of you might know this is the majority of the original inclination of the team known as The Illuminati. With Tony Stark and Black Bolt being the remaining members.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness seems like a perfect opportunity to introduce new faces to the MCU. Especially ones that were estranged from the MCU up until this point. Fans have been waiting to hear official word on the arrival of the X-Men and Fantastic Four. Deadpool is the only property to come over in the Fox deal to have official plans announced.
The X-Men films made by Fox are a mix of triumph and tragedy. While the Fantastic Four films have just not been good. If anyone can put the X-Men on a consistent path and do justice to the Fantastic Four, it’s Kevin Feige and his team at Marvel.
While the source is said o have a reliable track record, it’s still best to take this Doctor Strange rumor with that familiar friend, a grain of salt.
