Toy Story 4 is on the way, arriving at a Carnival by you this summer. Surely, you have seen the trailer by now, and hopefully, you saw our story earlier this week about a possible leaked image of the brand new Bo Peep with her new, sleek, action-ready look (which we talk about on today’s Los Fanboys).

The official logline is as follows, though we may have new information on who Keanu Reeves will play in the film (yes, Keanu is in Toy Story 4!), and how it ties into new theories about the plot, from Observer. From Disney:
“When a new toy called ‘Forky’ joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.”
Sources tell Observer that Keanu Reeves is playing a character named Duke Kaboom. Duke hails from a place where discounted toys are sent, and Po Peep (Annie Potts) seeks out his help to find her lost sheep after they were… Taken. I’m sure Duke has a particular set of skills, maybe more in line with a “PG John Wick,” though his name, of course, recalls the classic videogame hero Duke Nukem. So, at the very least, he’s going to kick some ass, should this rumor turn out to be true.
On Los Fanboys today, we discuss Bo Peep’s new look and make guesses about the story, though this is being written after we recorded. In a way this supports part of our theory, as eventually Po Beep and her old friends will cross paths, in which case, I can’t wait to see cocky Buzz Lightyear interact with Duke Kaboom. That’s coming later today, so keep an eye out.
Don’t forget to take this rumor with a grain of salt, though this type of character falls in line with Keanu Reeves’ recent reputation as a complete bad-ass.
Toy Story 4 hits the big screen on June 21, 2019.
