RUMOR – Nine Star Wars Films Are In Development

Are you guys ready for another Star Wars grain of salt? Good because I have one for you, just don’t tell anyone I told you, deal? Ok, according to Twitter user and podcaster Aaron Goins, voice actor Tom Kane, who has done work on several different Star Wars properties, claims there are currently nine Star Wars films at different stages of production

As far as we know, Rian Johnson is working on an all-new trilogy, and Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are will also soon be working on a series of Star Wars films, and that seems to imply three or more movies, so that accounts for six or more of the supposed nine. A Boba Fett film has been officially announced and if we go ahead and throw in the Obi-Wan film that makes eight or nine. Are those the actual films? Your guess is as good as mine, but it is also possible the remaining project is not a film and is Jon Favreau’s live-action television series set after Return of the Jedi, if so the aforementioned films and the one TV show would account for the nine projects in development claimed by Kane.

Assuming there are nine projects in the works, what do you think they might be? Let us know in the comments down below!
