RUMOR – The Jurassic Franchise’s Dinos May Be Headed To Television

We have a nice sized grain of salt for you folks, according to Jurassic Outpost, Amblin entertainment is developing a Jurassic World television series. The series is said to be filmed in Vancouver, Canada. This would make sense as the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion did some filming there as well.

The outlet also states that the rumored series is set to premiere on NBC’s Peacock streaming service in 2021 or 2022. Details about the potential series are scarce at the moment, but that is par for the course with rumors such as these.

Of course,  I am all for this as an initial idea, if the rumor is true and the project moves forward my opinion may change depending on the details. I am honestly surprised it took this long for the idea of a Jurassic TV series to come about, though, I am getting ahead of myself as none of this has been confirmed by any of the powers that be.

Television is more often becoming the platform of choice and it’s easy to understand why as it provides a place to tell a much more in-depth story and the Jurassic franchise seems like one that would be a perfect fit
