Well, this is sure to go over well with fans of the Harry Potter franchise. Over the past several years, we’ve seen fans turn on creator J.K. Rowling as she attempted to delve deeper into the mythology through Pottermore entries, Twitter responses, and Fantastic Beasts films, and the message seems to be loud and clear from most fans: they don’t want to see anything else in this world.

But, if this rumor is to be believed, it sounds like Warner Bros. is doing the exact opposite. Now, keep in mind that it comes from We Got This Covered, whose track record is as spotty as Swiss cheese, but they tell us that their sources are the same ones that told them about the Obi-Wan series, the She-Hulk show, and the Aladdin sequel.

According to them, Warner Bros. is intending to adapt the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play for the big screen, and that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson are expected to return to reprise their roles as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. 

While it has not been confirmed, it is assumed that it will be a two-part film, which adapts the story that sees Harry and Draco Malfoy’s kids in a time-traveling escapade that…seems to contradict the very time logic established in the novels…but never you mind.
