According to The Illuminerdi, Gal Gadot will appear as Wonder Woman in the long-awaited and highly-anticipated Flash film. Some rare good news concerning the film as it has had more than its share bumps in the road on the way to the big screen. The film has went through a few directors, title changes, and release dates. The project, like almost every other production was sht down due to the pandemic.

This is great to learn, but I just thought this was a given. Why wouldn’t DC have the hero that many would say turned around the cinematic universe of DC Comics. Flash as it is currently called is said to feature other Justice League members such as two differnt Batmans, with Affleck and Keaton said to be reprising their repective versions of the character. Ray Fisher is talks to return as Cyborg, however issues with Joss Whedom aapear to be a factor.

Following 2017’s Wonder Woman, was the Zachary Levi led Shazam! which I thought was just awesome, and just fun. THe film had a much different vibe than recent DC films, and I think Levi was great in the role. Aquaman also contributed to this, course correction. I feel Wonder Woman was a better movie, but Aquaman certainly kept the ball rolling.

Hopefully, we’re at the dawn of a new age of superhero cinema. Micheal Keaton set to return, Ray Fisher is in is currently in negotiations to return, and even though he took off the cowl, Ben Affleck will reprisig his Snyder version of Batman. This doesn’t end with DC either, as over on the Marvel side Doctor Strange and the Multivess of Madness is sure to bring some surprises. DC’s next big film, in Wonder Woman 1984, which has been pushed back a few times but is now set for release on Christmas Day, December 25.
