If you read the title, then you are likely here for rumored plot details for Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness. If that is the case then read ahead, if not, be warned. This information seems highly likely to be accurate to me, so be careful of actual plot SPOILERS after the image below. I don’t normally cover plot details, but this is still vague enough to not give the entire movie way in my opinion. However it does name a rumored MacGuffin that will drive the plot of the movie, so be warned.

According to The Cosmic Circus, one big plot detail that will be introduced is a new MacGuffin. Wanda as we know has and is potentially being manipulated by the Darkhold. TCC says they have come across information that the Darkhold’s counter, The Book of the Vashanti, will be the MacGuffin of this movie. The outlet points to where they can see this book in both the poster and potentially it’s hidden location within the trailer. The rumored plot details are that America Chavez and her version Strange are trying to get this book. This is to counter what Wanda is doing using the Darkhold, which is destroying their world. However time is up and Strange sacrifices himself to push Chavez into another Multiverse, the MCU with our Strange. Much of the plot then revolves around Strange and Chavez looking for The Book of the Vashanti to use it to counter the Darkhold.

Without the inside sources I’d be intrigued by this as speculation alone. However TCC has a good track record, so when added together, this seems pretty certain to me. Of course, as with all rumors, keep a dose of sodium handy just in case.
