In the fifth collaboration with director Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan, the duo enters into a new genre with the supernatural horror and vampire film Sinners.
It will mark Jordan’s most challenging role is he plays the twin brothers in the film that may be on opposite sides when the bloodthirst starts.
The film is written and directed by Ryan Coogler, most well known for his work with the Black Panther and Creed franchises. The rest of the cast includes Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies, and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods).

Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.

There are plenty of vampire movies out there, including the most recently praised film Nosferatu in theaters. With every vampire film, these directors and writers challenge the vampire lore and elevate the storytelling. With Sinners, it tells the story with mainly Black characters fighting the supernatural and vampires in the backdrop of the Jim Crowe South.
The film will be in theaters nationwide on March 7 and internationally on March 5.
