Whilst it’s yet to be officially greenlit that we know of, Ryan Reynolds hints in a recent interview that Deadpool 4 might be a team movie. Reynolds is working on Deadpool 4, but that’s as much as we know about when that might happen.

Speaking with Sunday Today, Reynolds said.

“I have stuff written. I don’t think I’m going to center him again, I think he is a supporting character. He is guy that’s great in a group”

To be fair it does not sound like Deadpool 4 will be the next Marvel film after Secret Wars. Yet that rumor is one we have shared from reliable sources. Perhaps things are little farther on then than Reynolds is prepared to say? As for a team up film, there were some rumors of an X-Force themed movie next at one point.

The last time we saw Deadpool was in Deadpool & Wolverine and as yet the actor has not been announced as part of the cast of either Doomsday or Secret Wars. Neither has his partner in that film, Hugh Jackman and I won’t get into any rumors to the contrary here.

Yet two very reliable sources (related section above) have said they had heard this next Deadpool film could actually come out before the X-Men reboot. It was previously thought X-Men would be the film to follow Secret Wars and kick off this new phase.
