Halloween is fast approaching, and if you’re in need of a TV show to get you into the spirit, you may not have longer to wait. One of the shows I’m most looking forward to in the near future is the Netflix original series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, an adaptation of the beloved Archie Comics character Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Like Riverdale, however, this won’t be a typical adaptation, but one that’s much darker in style and tone. This is a tone that was reflected in the trailer and is also reflected in the brand-new clip, the latter of which you can see above. Fans of the old sitcom will recognize everyone’s favorite black cat Salem is present and accounted for, but with a much darker twist.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina hits Netflix on October 26, 2018.
