According to the folks over at The Ronin, Sam Hargrave directed The Book of Boba Fett. Now, we don’t mean all episodes here, as we already know some directors who have worked on the show. However we do not know all the directors for every episode. Now The Ronin says they’ve discovered one we did not know about. Sam Hargrave directed Netflix’s Extraction and the outlet says Hargrave was given at least one episode to direct.
Hargrave is no stranger to this Star Wars universe having been second unit director on The Mandalorian Season 2. Here is exactly what the outlet reports.
The Ronin is hearing that The Mandalorian Season 2 second unit director Sam Hargrave has been given at least one episode to direct on The Book of Boba Fett and could be still doing second unit stuff throughout the series as well.
Exec producers Robert Rodriguez, Dave Filoni, and Jon Favreau have all reportedly directed episodes of the series, along with The Mandalorian stalwart Bruce Dallas-Howard. As yet, we do not know how many episodes The Book of Boba Fett will run for. Therefore we are unaware of how many missing names we have for the directors chair. That’s also assuming each of the aforementioned only directed one episode each. It’s possible that was not the case on The Book of Boba Fett?
The Book of Boba Fett has already wrapped and currently in the post-production stage for it’s December debut on Disney+. LRM‘s own sources, along with hints by the creative team have us prepped for essentially The Mandalorian 2.5 with a focus on Boba Fett. Hey, this is hardly a bad thing is it? As such LRM has heard that Dinn Djarin will feature in The Book of Boba Fett, along with the fan favorite Bounty Hunter Bossk.
