Sam Wilson/Falcon Asks What He Missed During The Blip

Sam Wilson

A lot of things had changed during the past five years.

Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, made it a mission to catch up on the things he missed since he was “blipped” out of existence.

In an Xbox promo video, Sam Wilson (played by Anthony Mackie) walks into a game store to speak to an employee.

“I fought as an Avenger. I took on the biggest, ugliest bad guy in the galaxy. I even met a talking tree. I thought I was ready for anything, but then things got really weird. I got blipped out of existence for five years. I missed my nephews growing up. So much to catch up on,” said Wilson in a speech to the game store employee.

He continued, “This is where you come in. What did I miss?”

Of course, the game store employee wearing an Xbox shirt points at the brand-new Xbox Series X/S on the shelf.

Then there’s a cut scene to a few video games for the Xbox and a plug for the new Xbox Game Pass.

In its hilarity, as the two are playing the Xbox by smashing buttons on the controller, the employee asks, “Can I see the wings?” Sam Wilson gives him the glare. The employee sighed and apologized, “Sorry. That was unprofessional.”

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier streams on Disney+ beginning March 19. The Xbox Series X/S and the new Xbox Game Pass are available now.

Hopefully, as an Avenger, he’ll have better luck on getting one of those new consoles. Due to a shortage of computer chips and other computer parts, the console shortages could last till summer according to analysts. However, the good news is all the games are available on the Xbox Game Pass to play on your old consoles and PC today.
