Every year, nerds from around the country and even some from overseas make the pilgrimmage to San Diego, for the yearly convention that is San Diego Comic-Con. This year, one of the attractions coming from Marvel studios, is an eight and a half feet tall, 450 pound statue of Infinity War villain, Thanos. Likely to be one of the more popular attractions at the convention this year, the statue used over 91,000 legos, took nearly 420 hours to complete. You can check out a photo of the statue here.

Thought by many to be the best villain to come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far, Thanos is truly deserving of this tribute. We’ve seen many vehicles from Star Wars get the Lego treatment, as well as other popular figures from other franchises, but this year, it is the Mad Titan’s turn.
While there are tons of attractions at San Diego Comic-Con, the Thanos statue is surely a must see for any Marvel fan.
