Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has two films that will be released this month and next month. First there is SHAZAM! which is already available digitally and Pokemon Detective Pikachu which will be available digitally later this month as well. With San Diego Comic-Con 50 right around the corner, Warner Bros. will be bringing two activations featuring these two films.

Thanks to a press release from Warner Bros. we have learned that both will take place outside the Omni Hotel and will be open to the public during the convention. Here is the information for each of the activations.

POKEMON DETECTIVE PICKACHU COMIC CON CONSUMER ACTIVATION

Experience the magic of Ryme City in an immersive walkthrough pop-up based on the hit film Pokémon Detective Pikachu. Guests will be able to explore the city and capture Instagrammable moments including the neon cityscape, Ryme City marketplace, film prop displays, an infinity room and more. Fans can win prizes while having the opportunity to take photos with multiple characters from the film including Detective Pikachu himself! On July 23, “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” will be available to own in high definition and standard definition from select digital retailers including Amazon, FandangoNow, AppleTV, PlayStation, Vudu, Xbox and others. On August 6, “POKÉMON Detective Pikachu” will be made available digitally on Video On Demand services from cable and satellite providers, and on select gaming consoles.

SHAZAM COMIC CON CONSUMER ACTIVATION

Visit the Chilladelphia Winter Carnival in sunny San Diego! At the carnival from the blockbuster film Shazam! Guests will have the chance to enjoy games such, shooting hoops, ring toss, bean bag toss, high striker and more for a chance to win exclusive prizes and pose for some fun photo opps. On July 2, “Shazam!” will be available to own in high definition and standard definition from select digital retailers including Amazon, FandangoNOW, iTunes, PlayStation, Vudu, Xbox and others. On July 16, “Shazam!” will be made available digitally on Video On Demand services from cable and satellite providers, and on select gaming consoles.

If you have watched the films, these seem like very fun activations that won’t take too much time. But keep in mind that with them open to the public, they may have very long lines as it will be something that people without access to the convention floor will try and take advantage of.
