The Walking Dead Season 11
It is the beginning of the end for The Walking Dead on AMC.
In its eleventh and final season, The Walking Dead fans eagerly await any teasers of the upcoming series, including anything about that Commonwealth. And yes, there is a teaser of the Commonwealth at the end of this trailer.
AMC had a lively discussion with the cast of The Walking Dead with moderator Chris Hardwick. The [email protected] virtual panel featured Gimple, showrunner Angela Kang, along with cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Khary Payton, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Eleanor Matsuura, and Michael James Shaw.
No doubt that everything’s going to conclude with the Commonwealth, a survivors’ enclave that had been teased for the past couple of seasons. In this trailer, there are glimpses of the Reapers, the guards wearing armored suits, and the security force for the Commonwealth. There’ll be plenty of zombies, but specific details of the plot are still up in the air.
The Walking Dead season 11 premieres Sunday, August 22 at 9 p.m. ET/8c on AMC with its 8-episode block. All 11A (8 episodes) will air one week early on AMC+, beginning August 15.
As for the other 16 episodes, the 11B and 11C episodes block will air next year in 2022.
Also, they’ve announced that Laila Robbins and Josh Hamilton join the previously announced Margot Bingham and Michael James Shaw as series regulars on season 11. Robins will be playing “Pamela Milton and Hamilton will play “Lance Hornsby.”
The Walking Dead season 10 is currently available on Blu-ray and DVD today.
