SDCC 2021: Netflix’s Fear Street Panel Talks About Best Kills and Releases Blooper Reel

FEAR STREET PART 1: 1994

No doubt the Netflix trilogy movies of Fear Street are some of the most fun horror movies of the year. Not only these films didn’t pull their punches on gore, violence, and death, they also paid homage to many of franchise’s favorite slasher films such as Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, and even Halloween.

Although all three films are already streaming on Netflix, the streaming service celebrated in a victory lap at this year’s Comic-Con@Home during its own virtual presentation.

With its first panel together since the films’ release, the roundtable panel included Fear Street director Leigh Janiak with cast members Kiana Maderia, Olivia Scott Welch, Benjamin Flores Jr., and the masterful storyteller and author R.L. Stine.

The panelists discussed the behind-the-scenes details on how they made the films and what the author thought about these horror-loving films.
