Jeremy Ford on the Fun Horror Ensemble of Netflix’s Fear Street Series [Exclusive Interview]

Fear Street Part 1: 1994

For Jeremy Ford, the opportunity to be a part of Netflix’s Fear Street series was a no-brainer. It was a large complex intertwining storyline and being a part of the horror genre was a huge bonus.

Based on R.L. Stine’s novel series of the same title, the horror series comprises three different movies spanning three different years of the same town. The mystery unravels as the characters try to survive killing sprees throughout the town’s history of Shadyside.

Here’s the logline for the trilogy of Fear Street:

In 1994, a group of teenagers discover the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected – and they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best-selling horror series, Fear Street follows Shadyside’s sinister history through a nightmare 300 years in the making.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta chatted with actor Jeremy Ford, who had roles in two of the three films in the trilogy. He played Peter in Fear Street: Part One – 1994 as a jock from a rival high school. Then in Fear Street: Part Three – 1666, Ford portrayed Caleb, one of the townsfolk of Shadyside. We discussed the horror genre, behind-the-scenes production, and the two characters he played in the series.

Jeremy Ford has been in several television shows and films, including Pink Opaque, The Ghost and the Whale, and the series The Mosquito Coast.
