I must admit that the Falcon & Winter Soldier is the only show announced for the MCU on Disney+ that I am interested in. I am not saying that the others will be bad, just that after Endgame will I really care what those characters are doing? I know some of the shows could be set between Civil War and Infinity War, especially the show with Wanda and Vision, but I just can’t seem to find excitement for those. That’s fine though because I have excitement to spare for Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie’s team-up.

After the announcement of the show, Bucky himself had a word or two to say about it. Well, actually only one word:

Ok.

Yup… He said “ok” and nothing else. I think that’s hilarious. I don’t really know why, but I heard it in my head like “Okay, sure. I’m not doing anything on Sunday.” You would think he would be more excited about it, or would he?

Does this show, which can’t be set before Infinity War because of the fact Bucky was on ice after the events of Civil War, mean that neither Sam nor Bucky will pick up Captain America’s shield and don the red, white, and blue? There have been a couple of times where Bucky has held Cap’s shield and it has given me the geeky goosebumps. Ed Brubaker’s run on the Captain America comics where Steve Rogers dies and Bucky becomes the new Cap is a favorite of mine. Bucky becoming Cap is something I have been dying to see ever since Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I am also very cool with the idea of Sam becoming Cap… but after Bucky.

What do you think about this show? What do you think it means for the Captain America costume? Is Stan’s reaction not as funny as I thought it was? Let us know in the comments below!
