‘Shang-Chi’ is a Nuanced Hero’s Journey That Dazzles- NFC Review

Shang-Chi

‘Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings,’ has stunning visuals and breathtaking fight choreography. However, it also contains so much more. It has a more nuanced approach to it’s familial conflict and a storytelling style that promotes showing over telling. It is a film that feels fresh and timely, while also employing classic themes. Simu Liu and the rest of the cast shine and we cannot wait to see more of this character.
