Shattered Official Trailer: No, It Isn’t A Misery Remake!

Cameron Monaghan’s character goes through hell in this upcoming thriller. From Lionsgate, the Shattered official trailer and the red band trailer are out now. The movie will hit in select theaters and on-demand on January 14.

Shattered Synopsis

In the tradition of Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct comes this dazzling action-thriller starring Academy Award nominee John Malkovich (RED) and Frank Grillo (Avengers: Endgame). After lonely tech millionaire Chris (Cameron Monaghan, “Shameless”) encounters charming, sexy Sky (Lilly Krug), passion grows between them – and when he’s injured, she quickly steps in as his nurse. But Sky’s odd behavior makes Chris suspect that she has more sinister intentions, especially when Sky’s roommate is found dead from mysterious causes.

That’s a lot of work to steal someone’s identity. If she hired the right bad people, she can get that information a lot easier and won’t have to get her hands so bloody. I guess that’s what Sky considers fun, but all that time it takes just makes it easier to get caught. Doesn’t she watch movies or documentaries. Some criminals are just dumb.

A few people have been comparing this film to Misery. This is not Misery! I have a picture of one of the comments, but I couldn’t get the second because of a comment I didn’t want to share. Stupid bots. It’s hilarious to watch Malkovich’s performance in this trailer. He’s just watching people like a nosy creep.

The film is written by David Loughery and is directed by Luis Prieto. Shattered also stars Frank Grillo and Sasha Luss.
