Shazam! Fury Of The Gods Trailer 2 | Time For Our Heroes To Grow Up

Shazam! Fury of the Gods

The second trailer for the New Line Cinema DC film Shazam! Fury of the Gods has been released today by Warner Bros. Pictures. We are about two months away from the sequel that tells the story of Teenage Billy Batson, who was given superhero powers with just one word. Check out the trailer below!

Shazam! Fury of the Gods looks to put our young heroes up against an ancient power that isn’t afraid of raising the stakes. By the looks of this second trailer, it looks like Billy and the rest of his superpowered family are going to have to in a sense “grow up” and make some tough choices that maybe come easier to seasoned adult heroes. Something that as we see in the trailer may be so difficult Billy is willing to give up his powers.

With that serious storyline, it’s going to be fun to have more comedy relief from one of the leads, Zachary Levi. From the two trailers, we know that there are going to be a lot of Easter eggs and mentions of other franchises that this era of audiences love. Where Shazam! and the rest of the family go from the end of that film, only a few folks know for now.

Here is the synopsis for Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.
