Shazam! IMAX Poster Revealed!

Shazam! is a film that has slowly managed to win me over. If you’ve been following my writing for a while now, you’ll know that he’s a character I didn’t think would actually make it into the DCEU when it started out. Given how things started, I assumed they’d have Black Adam take up the mantle himself at some point…but I’m happy I was dead wrong.

Everything we’ve seen from the film so far looks downright delightful. From Zachary Levi’s performance, to their embracing of the wish fulfillment aspect, it really hits on all the right notes. This is especially surprising given that director David F. Sandberg is mostly known for bringing unspeakable horrors to the big screen with movies like Lights Out. It really shows that he gets this character and why fans like it, and is jumping headfirst into that aspect.

Now, Warner Bros. has released a new poster for the flick, and it also embodies that childlike wonder.

In the poster, you see Shazam! drinking a cola and holding a bucket of popcorn, and at the top, you can see IMAX promising to transform your theatrical experience. While I can’t guarantee it will do just that, I know that Shazam! is an undeniable theater visit for me.
