Time and time again we have seen director Zack Snyder reveal images and information about his much talked about Synder Cut of Justice League. We know that after his Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was deemed “too dark”, Warner Bros. made some changes to Justice League. After a tragedy in Snyder’s life Joss Whedon came in and made even more changes with reshoots.

We know now that Snyder had a huge plan for the DCEU that included Darkseid. Unfortunately none of that happened as Warner Bros. was desperate to try and catch up with Marvel Studios. This in my opinion caused them to rush things out and not be very appealing to audiences. Little by little more and more people have jumped on board to the “release the Snyder Cut” movement as more of his vision has been released.

This weekend Snyder hosted a Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice live stream event via Vero. Here he provided some commentary while watching the Ultimate Edition of the film. In my opinion, the most interesting comment came at the end as he was thanking fans.

Snyder gives a straight forward statement about his thoughts on Justice League. Right before signing off, he gave his thoughts on what should happen with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice:

“You know what, they should make a sequel to this movie someday, that would be amazing. That would really be something else. Yeah, I wanna know what happens to these guys. I mean, don’t they eventually, I don’t know, form some…”

Ouch, that is quite the shot at Justice League. I remember the disappointment that I felt like a DC fan when I saw Justice League. For so long I had waited to see some of my favorite characters together on the big screen only to be let down. It would have been better to have allowed Snyder to continue to allow his vision to play out. But all of this is just could have, should have, would have that will never lead to anything.

Unless… they release the Snyder Cut?
