It is the ultimate good versus evil in saving a movie theater.
In Showdown at the Grand, the film honors the action-pulp comedies of the 1980s with plenty of gunfights, swordfights, and homage to our favorite action heroes.
The film stars Terrence Howard (Iron Man, Hustle & Flow), John Savage (The Last Full Measure, The Deer Hunter), Piper Curda (Legacies, The Wretched), with Amanda Righetti (The Mentalist, Reagan) and Dolph Lundgren (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, The Expendables).
Here is the official synopsis:
A proud movie theater owner, George Fuller (Terrence Howard), must defend his family business from corporate developers alongside a legendary action star, Claude Luc Hallyday (Dolph Lundgren) as art imitates life in a showdown for the ages.

Dolph Lungren is surely poking fun at himself for being an aging action star. From the new Expend4bles to Showdown at the Grand, Lungren still clings on to his action roles in films and has the humor with it.
Strangely enough, Terrence Howard is back on screen after his retirement announcement in 2022. So, the former Academy Award nominee still has a love for cinema.
Showdown at the Grand is in select theaters and all major VOD platforms on November 3.
