Sideshow Review I The Best Collectibles for July

Welcome!  For those that have read Sideshow Review, you know that I am not just a huge fan of Sideshow products. I am also a collector of their products. The big event for this company is the annual Sideshow Con that starts July 19 to the 25 of July. They have some great swag and giveaways to check daily during this event, so stop by the site and do not forget to register for the event.

Normally when I go over a few items from Sideshow for the Sideshow Review and I skip the most expensive ones. However, this Hulkbuster Deluxe Version is super awesome for a die-hard Iron Man fan or Marvel fan. The price for this item is about $1,155. However, you can do a layaway plan if you do not have that much to put down. This item is about 21’ inches tall and has over 20 LED lights that make it come to life.  If I could afford this item, I would love to have it in my collection!

Staying on the topic of Iron Man for the Sideshow Review, there is a cool pre-order Mark 1 sixth scale figure by Hot Toys. The figure also lights up. It can be articulated into any pose you decide to have. The figure stands close to 12’ inches and the detail perfectly matches the first Iron Man movie Mark 1 made in the cave by Tony Stark. It costs about $455. The layaway plan starts at $52 a month to help you get this item on your shelf.

The other hot item, because of Disney’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian, is Boba Fett (repaint armor-special edition) pre-order. This is a sixth scale figure by Hot Toys. It also stands close to 12’ inches and allows you to add any accessories and pose him in any way you wish. The figure costs around $245. The layaway starts at $55 a month. This also should sell out fast! So if you love Star Wars, and have a place on your shelf for Boba Fett, you should grab this up.

The other neat item for the Sideshow Review is a print titled: Two for the Road by Thomas Kinkade Studios and Monte Moore. It is a limited edition print that costs $185 and measures 12 x 18 or $240 for an 18 x 27. You decide because those are the measurements for framed or unframed. The print is taken where the Mandalorian tells Grogu to stop touching things on his ship. This item is almost sold out, so if you like it get it soon!

There are two other prints that I like and are also available for pre-order. The first is Mystique by Darren Tan. The print runs unframed at $95 and up to $300 if you want the special framing. This print measures 17.5 x 25.5 and will look good in the center of your X-Men collection.

The other is from DC’s Batman Beyond #37 by Francis Manapul that measures 18 x 24. The unfamed print costs $95 and the higher up special frame costs $300 as well. The colors that bring his print to life are amazing and this would be a must to add to your Batman Cave!

These are just a few examples of what this great company has to offer this month.  I like to mention on other columns that they add things weekly, if not daily. They have almost anything you collect in pop culture available to check out.  For me, this month I had a layaway plan on the Cinderella statue by J. Scott Campbell from his Fairytale Fantasies Collection. She is about $365 with shipping, and tax closer to $400. But the layaway plan is at $55 a month, which helps. Plus, I get those cool reward points to use on future items. I like the line that Campbell is doing. If you are a comic collector you know his work when you see it! He does an amazing job of drawing and his style stand out like most great artist.

She stands around 16’ inches and the width is about the same to show how she is changing into her party dress for the ball. The base is mirrored so you can see every detail of her transformation. I have a short video of me taking her out of box and putting her together.

If you are like me and have been collecting statues for a few years, you know it is a pain sometimes to put them together.

I love having magnets that connect the pieces today versus back when you might have to trim pieces to fit them together. And to be honest, for what you pay for these statues today, they better be simpler to put together! But if I ever had an issue with a part, the Sideshow staff make it easy to get that part or replace an item.
