Things ended almost perfectly in Season 5 of Silicon Valley. After several long years of stumbling around, taking two steps forward and three back, Richard Hendricks finally attained his happy ending. His company Pied Piper had finally lived up to its full potential. But that’s not to say it doesn’t come with its own batch of difficulties, and in the final season, we’ll be seeing what happens when you get to be a big fish in Silicon Valley.
HBO has just released the trailer for Silicon Valley Season 6, and at the forefront of it, we see Richard speaking in front of the U.S. Senate on the subject of the security of user data — timely stuff. Of course, nothing goes according to plan, and Richard finds himself pulling up his entire mini-lectern so that he can pace while he speaks.

We get a few hilarious comments from Gilfoyle and Dinesh about how childish he looks on TV before we pop into the footage for the rest of the season. If this trailer is any indication, the stakes will be just as high as usual, the screw-ups as cringey, and the laughs as loud.
Silicon Valley Season 6 hits HBO on October 27, 2019.
