Kevin Conroy

On Friday, November 11, it was announced that Kevin Conroy passed away at 66. He was mostly known for his iconic beloved work as the voice of Batman in Batman: The Animated Series.

Conroy has established never-to-be-broken records as the voice of Batman. He brought the character to life in almost 60 projects. This included 15 films, 15 animated series that was composed of nearly 400 episodes, more than 100 hours of television, and 12 video games. He was even able to play the character in live action in the Arrowverse’s 2019-2020 crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths”.

Many considered Conroy as their definite Batman having grown up with the animated series. The amazing and in-depth storytelling of that series is one that stands to this day and moving forward. Throughout the day many shared their brief statements reacting to the loss of a pop culture legend.
