In addition to the trailer earlier today, Lucafilm also dropped four character posters for the upcoming space adventure, Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Three of the four characters we get posters for are well-known entities: we have Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), and Chewie. The fourth and final poster comes in the form of Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke), a new character to the Star Wars mythology.
On the whole, these posters are a lot of fun, and I love that the characters are fully painted here. However, there is something about the posters that sort of rubs me the wrong way, I can’t quite put my finger on it. That being said, I do love the tattered paper aesthetic they’re going for, which really gives the movie sort of a western flavor, which is something Star Wars has always been influenced by.
