In addition to the trailer earlier today, Lucafilm also dropped four character posters for the upcoming space adventure, Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Three of the four characters we get posters for are well-known entities: we have Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), and Chewie. The fourth and final poster comes in the form of Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke), a new character to the Star Wars mythology.

On the whole, these posters are a lot of fun, and I love that the characters are fully painted here. However, there is something about the posters that sort of rubs me the wrong way, I can’t quite put my finger on it. That being said, I do love the tattered paper aesthetic they’re going for, which really gives the movie sort of a western flavor, which is something Star Wars has always been influenced by.

Check out the posters below!

Below is the official synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story:

“Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”
