A full trailer for the new action film Skyscraper has been released. The new film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, as former FBI Agent and ex-military man, Will Sawyer, who is now a security expert that specializes in the safety of tall buildings. While consulting a building owner during a security inspection, Johnson’s Sawyer is more or less mocked and laughed out of the room, being called a “glorified security guard”. As is expected, those words come back in a big way as a situation develops when a group of mercenaries invade the building and a fire emerges on one of the buildings top floors. Johnson, must find a way to defeat the paid thugs and save his family.

When it comes to action films, Johnson is the undisputed new Schwarzenegger. Nothing against Arnie but, in my opinion, Johnson is a better overall actor than Schwarzenegger.

Along with Johnson, Skyscraper features Neve Campbell and Pablo Schreiber. The film is written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who is probably most well known for comedies such as Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and We’re the Millers.
