A new featurette for Disney’s Solo: A Star Wars Story takes the viewer behind-the-scenes for the making of the upcoming film. Appearing in the video are director of photography, Bradford Young, make-up designer, Amanda Knight, cast members Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke, as well as the film’s director, Ron Howard.

I have always enjoyed featurettes and behind-the-scenes videos such as this one. I have been interested in learning more about how films are made since I was a kid.

While I initially took Alden Ehrenreich’s interpretation of Han Solo, to be a goody-two-shoes and a bit too naive for my liking, with each new piece of footage I watch, I am warming up to him more and more. Of course, he will never replace Harrison Ford in the minds of many Star Wars fans (myself included), but if you are going to enjoy this film, you have to accept going in that it’s going to be a different Han Solo up on the screen.

The film is almost certified fresh on RottenTomatoes, currently in at 71%, just a few points shy from the needed 75% to be considered fresh. It is likely the film will hit that mark once it opens nationwide and around the world.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens May 25.
