Today is the day filming begins on Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Sony has released (very) small teaser. I really mean it when I say small folks, what you’ll see below is 8 seconds of darkened close up images of Spidey’s new suit. In fact, one would guess that by next week we’ll have better images from locals or press taking images.

I told you it’s not much.
What may be more interesting is rumors from Daniel RPK that the scenes being shot today, (probably completed by the time you read this) involved Jon Bernthal’s Punisher. Daniel’s information seems to line up with set photos we saw yesterday showing the set up for shotting today. So far as we know Punisher was involved in an action scene driving an armoured vehicle. Far as we know, no sign of Spider-Man yet though.

Edit: Daniel did say this may be the 3rd and not today in a second post. But the armoured truck has been seen on location.

As per the rumor/tease above the most interesting thing will be seeing which villains show up for the location part of filming. None yet far as we know.
