Today we have a new Sony Spider-Man rumor, but to discuss further we kinda need to delve into some SPOILERS for No Way Home. That being said, if you want to stay completely fresh as a daisy for Spider-Man: No Way Home, released this week, maybe check this story out after you’ve seen it?

Either you already knew this was true, or don’t care about SPOILERS. Yep, it’s true, the Force, the Jedi, all of it. Sorry wrong franchise. No, I mean it’s true that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are both in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Yeah, I know, shocker, who could have known about this dramatic spoiler? Well, Sony’s leaks problem aside this rumor pertains to the future, or possible future of those older Spider-Men. My Time To Shine HELLO, who has been pretty consistent with Spider-Man leaks for a while, said this on social media.

Given that the reaction even before release has been crazy for No Way Home and the return of Tobey and Andrew, I would say we can at least rule out Sony deciding there’s no interest in seeing these guys. However as for what Sony does with them, if anything, who knows?

I’m excited to see Tobey and Andrew back, in THIS movie. However ask me if I’d be excited to see Andrew or Tobey back as Sony’s own Spider-Man in the SSMU? Ok, since there’s no one to ask me, I’ll ask myself. No, that would not excite me because I still do not trust Sony without Marvel’s influence to make good movies. If Marvel Studios were involved? Well, that’s a whole other ball game.
