Spider-Man 3: Marvel Confirms Tie In With Doctor Strange Sequel

According to recent reports, the SAG-AFTRA strike talks are not going as well as hoped.

Disney recently dropped a ton of major announcements at Disney Investor Day 2020. One bit of information regarding Marvel was that Spider-Man 3 (along with the Disney+ series WandaVision) will tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Most of us already assumed this to be true with Doctor Strange appearing in Spider-Man 3. Though it’s nice to receive official confirmation. The title, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, really leaves no question about the Marvel Cinematic Universe exploring the multiverse. Check out what Marvel Mastermind Kevin Feige had to say about the Doctor Strange sequel below.

“We’re really pushing the boundaries of storytelling with this thrilling, scary, mind-bending adventure.”

A Live-Acti0n SpiderVerse Is Looming

I don’t think Doctor Strange is also not a random addition to Spidey 3. We have Alfred Molina set to return as the Raimi/Magure trilogy’s best villain, Doctor Octopus. As well as Jamie Foxx’s all but confirmed return as Electro. Then there are the rumors of previous Spider-Men appearing in the film popping up almost daily over the last couple of weeks. Taking all of this into account,  a live-action SpiderVerse is more than likely going to happen.

If the live-action SpiderVerse turns out to b true it could make way for alternate universe versions of other MCU heroes. I’ve already seen a few posts around the internet about Tom Cruise coming in as another version of Iron Man. And John Krasinski as Captain America. Krasinski auditioned for the role back when Chris Evans was chosen. If Marvel can pull off the multiverse with a quality similar to that of the MCU fans will forever love  them
