Spider-Man 3: Tom Holland Says It’s A Most Ambitious Superhero Movie

Spider-Man 3 ambitious? It won’t be long before the world has another Spider-Man trilogy. Fans are excited for another web-slinging adventure. Not only because of star Ton Holland is wonderful in the role, but at the possibility of the multiverse being introduced, and what it might bring.

Holland recently spoke with Variety and while he couldn’t say much, he said there’s a lot left to shoot on what he called an ‘impressive’ film. You can check out what he had to say below.

“I can say that it’s the most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made. You sit down, read the script, and see what they’re trying to do, and they’re succeeding. It’s really impressive. I’ve never seen a standalone superhero movie quite like it. And I’m just, you know, again, that lucky little shit who happens to be Spider-Man in it. We got a lot more shooting to do, we started before Christmas and shot for like seven weeks. We stopped for the Christmas break, and then we’re starting again. I’m just as excited as everyone else to see it, let alone be a part of it.’

Spider-Man 3 ambitious

Now, this is just speculation on my part. But I take Holland’s use of the word ambitious as another piece of evidence in the case to prove the multiverse. Still, for me, the biggest and most convincing piece that’s right out in the open would be the fact that Doctor Strange is in the film. Considering the title of his upcoming sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Even Holland said recently he doesn’t know if there will be additional Spider-Men in the upcoming film. But most of us hope that there will be. We know with the Doctor Strange sequel the multiverse is coming. With many of us speculating it will play a part in the introduction of the Fantastic Four as well as the X-Men.
