Marvel Barside Buzz, including some Spider-Man: Brand New Day symbiote rumors, Doctor Doom’s origin changing and some Secret Wars plot rumors to boot. Let’s get started with Spider-Man: Brand New Day and some recent rumors. The idea here, is that there could be some symbiote shenanigans in the movie that have remained hidden till now.
First off we have Daniel RPK on his Patreon saying that a big plot in Brand New Day is Peter and Sadie Sink’s character looking for something called Vmax.
Now a lot of fans responded to tell Daniel that Vmax is a cinema format and he must have his wires crossed.
However, Alex P from TCC backed up Daniel somewhat with this post on social media.
Let me start by saying that yes, I’m aware VMax is a theater format.

There has been some rumors from unreliable sources that Tombstone get’s the Venom symbiote left behind by Tom Hardy’s Venom. This has then become a mix of speculation and rumor that Scorpion will become the MCU Venom in the next film. This all remains to be seen. all we can really go on is what two reliable insiders have said above.
There have been old rumors and definitely fan demand that when Tom Holland’s Spider-Man shows up in Secret Wars, he gets the black costume. Let’s see if that actually happens or not. There’s certainly no mention of this in the Secret Wars rumors below.

Let’s move onto Doomsday and whilst I am maintaining my stance on Doomsday due to the now proved legit plot leaks, this one is important to cover I feel. There had been some confusion over Doctor Doom’s Origin with all the rumors saying he was from Earth-828 aka The Fantastic Four’s world thrown into some doubt. A recent claim was made that Doom was actually from a completely different reality to the Fantastic Four. Now Alex P has corrected himself an explained how this happened.
Clarification: It would appear that I was wrong in my previous statements about RDJ’s Doom belonging to an alternate universe in #AvengersDoomsday. While that was a path that was originally explored, Doom is in fact from Earth-828 as previously reported by previous leaks. My bad.

I’ve heard this is probably exactly what happened myself from a couple of people I trust, so it’s good to get clarity on this point.
Secret Wars Plot Rumors
Now onto some new plot rumors from insiders for Secret Wars, the sequel/follow up to Doomsday.

As for the adult advisors who will guide: Wong, Agatha, Scott, Vision, & Star-Lord are among the names I've heard repeatedly from sources as potential advisors for this group of champions. Heard Clint's name thrown in too, but I doubt he'll show up.

Some strange names there that I don’t think would sell this movie to audiences like Doomsday cast does. Surely the likes of Tom Holland, Hugh Jackman, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield who are all rumored to star in Secret Wars would make more sense? Still, that’s just my opinion and I know what you guys know, as of reading this article.
