Spider-Man: Far From Home Box Office Numbers

I have to be upfront here, I LOVED Spider-Man: Far From Home! I think the second and third act are the best parts of any film with the Wall-Crawler. I’m not alone if box office numbers are any indication. The film brought in a record-setting $39.2 million on its Tuesday opening and continues to make great money through the holiday week.

It’s very weird doing box office numbers for a movie that opens on a Tuesday versus the normal Thursday previews and three-day weekend stats we usually get to cover. Spidey’s 2nd solo MCU film brought in an estimated $25 million on Independence Day and is expected to bring in an additional $80 million through its first full weekend. That’ll give the film an estimated $170+ million first six days which will be nearly $20 million more than Spider-Man: Homecoming’s first six days.

Homecoming ended its 147 day theatrical run with $334 million domestically and $880 million worldwide. Far From Home has already brought in $309 million worldwide. With the success of Avengers: Endgame to help boost it, there’s a good chance this film tops its predecessor on both box office fronts.

What did you think of Far From Home? Do you think it’ll top Homecoming’s box office? What about Spider-Man’s $403 million domestic take? Let us know in the comments below!
