“School’s out for summer!”  Alice Cooper isn’t the only one excited about summer vacation. The upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, now titled Spider-Man: Far From Home has had many fans wondering why exactly Peter Parker will be heading to Europe. What circumstance could possibly result in Peter Parker heading across the pond?

Slashfilm reported that Marvel President Kevin Feige gave the answer to io9:

“We know it’s the summer. I think it’s summer vacation. I think he’s going to Europe with his friends.”

Nothing like a little European summer vacation with your high school friends. Ok, so it isn’t much, but it does give fans some areas to talk about. Is this merely a fun social event, or could there be other reasons he left good ol’ New York? Could he run into Mysterio, or possibly another villain in his gallery?

A bigger question could be: when does this take place?  Yes, we have been told that it is before the events of Avengers: Infinity War, but we’ve also been told it takes place after Avengers 4, so…yeah. For what it’s worth, I’d say post-Avengers 4 is when it’ll be, as the narrative only changed after Infinity War hit theaters. Tell us what you think!  Leave your thoughts in the usual place, and thanks for reading!
