Marvel Studios and Sony have locked down yet another actor for their upcoming film SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, the first standalone film from Spidey since the disappointing AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, which effectively ended that franchise, as well as prematurely put a capper on a planned SINISTER SIX film. Awareness for HOMECOMING has definitely had a recent spike. The film is in production, and with that have come an onslaught of announcements regarding the cast. In fact, we only just had two more confirmed actors this morning, and now, we already have yet another actor on board for the flick.
According to THR, actor Michael Mando has joined in on the reboot. As per usual, we have no details regarding who this actorwill be playing. Mando is probably best known at the moment for his role as the indimidating Nacho Varga in the BREAKING BAD spinoff series BETTER CALL SAUL.
Varga will be joining a stellar cast that consists of Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, and Michael Keaton as the Vulture.
