In a world where it seems like we’ve had countless different iterations of Spider-Man on both the big and small screen, what is the perfect way to make things fresh? Not every studio out there can make anything remotely close to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of its success. Many have already tried and failed. So there has to be a different way to shake things up for audiences, right?

Believe it or not, it looks like Sony may have the answer. No, I’m not talking about Venom and his little pocket universe with Tom Hardy, but rather the exciting stuff they have going on on the animated front with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. If you saw that last trailer, you know that things have opened up quite a bit in that we are now following several different Spider-Heroes.

These heroes are all highlighted in a new sneak peek video. Of course, we Peter Parker and Miles Morales, but we also have Spider-Gwen, Spider-Noir, Peni Parker and SP//dr, and finally Spider-Ham. For those unfamiliar with the more obscure and ridiculous corners of the Spider-Verse, this is a must-see video to help give you an idea of who these guys are.

While I may be cynical as all hell when it comes to Venom and Sony’s connection with the MCU, this animated film gives me the smallest glimmer of hope that someone over at Sony is doing something right. But what do you think of this thing? Let us know your thoughts down below!
