Today’s Barside Buzz has Spider-Man rumors including Sadie Shapeshifter Sink and the Scorpion rescue, plus Avengers: Doomsday‘s trailer speculation. Let’s begin with Spider-Man: Brand New Day and another claim from a leaker that Sadie Sink’s character in the film is a shapeshifter. This time from Alex P of TCC.
Check it out,
I agree. Black works well on her. Also blonde. But then again…shapeshifter so https://t.co/MUNQP9LvU6

Not the first to say this, which of course is pointing fans speculation towards comic book character Shathra. As always though, pinch of salt till we know more.
Another Spider-Man rumor has some detail around the Scorpion rescue scene. Now, we know this scene is in the film, because some of it was shot in Glasgow without actor Michael Mando. Mando only seemed to arrive on set once the production moved to London and inside the studio. Well, now Daniel RPK claims on his Patreon that mind-controlled Damage Control agents will be the ones rescuing Scorpion. Meaning Punisher and Spidey have to fight against these agents not acting themselves.
If true you can just imagine Spider-Man having to protect these people against Punisher, whilst still trying to disable them and prevent the escape. Though again, pinch of salt.

Finally we have a fair bit of fan speculation around when we may actually see a Avengers: Doomsday trailer. Disney+ has confirmed they are attending CCXP in Brazil on Dec 7th. Since then a lot of fan accounts are teasing or claiming that Avengers: Doomsday will get it’s first look for the those in attendance. More fans are speculating the trailer could then drop online a few days later.
No reliable sources (my opinion) are saying this, so I’m not even calling it a rumor at this point. Even if the crowd to get a first look, I think the best chance for not attendees to see it would be potato quality online. However, first off, this is a Disney+ panel, not a Marvel panel. Secondly, a big thing has been made about the trailer being in front of Avatar: Fire & Ash, which is December 19. So why would Disney release it online early when they want bums on seats for Avatar? You can guess I’m not convinced, but we shall see?
So what do you think of today’s Barside Buzz rumors? As always, leave us your thoughts below.
