When the first trailers hit for The Bad Batch, fans were confused by the absence of one of the members from certain shots. The member being Crosshair, It was suggested and discussed amongst the fan base that Crosshair might have decided to stay with the Empire and left his friends. It was a theory I got behind because it just made sense logically. Now though, it’s more than a theory. Below you can see an image from a Reddit thread Here. This image shows packaging from a figure of Crosshair. As you can see, this packaging confirms that Crosshair has stayed with the Empire whilst the rest of the team fled.
So that’s that. To be honest, as said above, I expect all of this to play out across that opening premier episode on May 4th. Also, if you have been following the trailers, and added up the evidence, you probably already suspected this. I actually find this a very interesting dynamic, and as yet we don’t know what the catalyst is. As far as Crosshair is concerned, it would be his friends who betrayed the Republic/Empire they were created to serve.

What causes the team to have this difference of opinion. Are the other members witness to an event that Crosshair is not, thus setting him up against them without fully knowing they made the right call. Or, is Crosshair simply not bothered by what he is being asked to do for the Empire? There is a lot of ways the writers can play this, so I’m intrigued.
