Star Wars Episode I Racer Coming To Playstation 4 And Nintendo Switch

I’m just going to go ahead and apologize now. Now THIS is podracing…that is on its way to the Nintendo Switch and the PlayStation 4. Yes, Star Wars Episode I Racer, the video game based on the first prequel film will be making it’s way to a couple of modern consoles.

The game will feature over 20 (25 to be exact) racers to choose from. And split-screen multi-player is the al you’ll get, Tatooine and Baroonda are among the locations where you’ll e able to pod through. Below you can find a description of the space racing game.

“[Star Wars Episode I Racer] Puts you behind the controls of your favorite producers as you speed through flaming methane lakes, Tusken Raider assaults, anti-gravity tunnels, and much more.”

No release date was given but word on the street is we’re looking at a spring release.

Along with Mario Kart 64, and one of, if not the best game ever made GoldenEye 007, this is one of those games that people my age loved. Back before the Internet, kids of the 90s ate, slept and became ridiculously good at video games uch as this one. I’ll leave you with a piece of advice. If you’re not winning any races or even placing in the top three, here’s a secret. Try spinning, it’s a good trick.
