It’s been decades since Lando Calrissian graced the big screen in a legitimate Star Wars movie. Sure, he’d lent his talents on plenty of other Star Wars-related projects, but to see him on screen at least one last time will be quite the treat for audiences. The studio has done a solid job keeping the lid on all the details, but with Star Wars Celebration underway, you know those details would be dropping.

While on the stage during the Star Wars: Episode IX panel, Billy Dee Williams came out on stage to great applause from the audience. He was asked by moderator Stephen Colbert what it was like to return to the character all these years. Williams fittingly said “Lando never left me,” which, of course, resulted in even more cheers from audiences.

But that wasn’t all. The studio also threw up an image of the Williams as Calrissian, sporting a familiar-looking outfit. And you know what? His swagger still somehow comes across in still image form. What do you think of this first look at Lando? Let us know down below!
