With Star Wars: Episode 9 currently in principal photography there is always the chance that eagle eyed fans will grab a glimpse of something interesting. Of course there is also the chance that they merely capture the back of someone’s jacket from 300 ft away? Well, you try getting good shots when you are hiding in a bush from JJ Abrams sniper drones.
Today’s batch of BTS spy photos have appeared online in a few different places already. Luckily one user has shared them to their Twitter account, meaning I can give you a better look without actually posting any pictures, so without further ado. Behold Indiana Dameron!

My colleagues here at LRM and I have all had a good look through these and picked them apart. Here are our amazing insights gathered from these photos.
Poe looks like Indiana Jones without the hat and we have therefore determined the McGuffin in this movie will be the long-lost Fedora of Han Solo. We have also determined that Finn still has no clothes of his own and has gotten his new pants from Han’s old stock in the Falcon. I personally thought “Yay, more horses” because the racehorse jailbreak from The Last Jedi was my favorite moment in Star Wars history so far….yeah. Oh, and Nick (Dollface) is convinced this is Wakanda and we are going to find out Star Wars crosses over with the MCU.
Finally, Kyle Malone declares that “This is a less advanced planet” in his best Spock impersonation. Dammit, you green-blooded Vulcan!
In all honesty (as I am sure you guessed), we have no idea what is going on here other than Finn Solo and Indiana Dameron looking at something in a field, whilst Chewbacca and some seemingly-local nomads look on. At least we know Poe actually has some scenes with other main cast members this time around, something that’s not happened too much over the course of the last two movies. You readers will perhaps be able to provide some better insight than we here at LRM could manage (wouldn’t be hard). If, so have at it.
Are you getting excited about Star Wars: Episode 9, which I am retitling Star Wars: The Search for Solo’s Hat? (Disclaimer – not approved by Lucasfilm). Share anything you got in the usual place below. May the Horse be with you!
