Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the rumored title of the Jedi: Fallen Order sequel currently in development. That’s according to games industry insider Jeff Grub who mentioned the rumor during a recent Twitch broadcast linked Here. I have not actually played Fallen Order, but I have watched my son play it many times and I am aware of the basic plot. Survivor guilt seems to be a central theme in the first game as Cal and others feels guilty about surviving when so many others perish.
As for where the sequel will go story wise I cannot say? However it’s looking like the game will be released sometime in early 2023 based on a recent EA earnings call. What I think can be expected is that the sequel will match the gameplay loop of the original game. Cal, is likely still searching for the Jedi Holocron. Cal will have aged as the story moves further away from Order 66 and the end of the Jedi.
Current estimates from insiders are that Jedi: Survivor (if this rumour checks out) will release sometime between January and March of next year. It is also expected that the first visuals, and perhaps even some game play, may be shown at this years Star Wars Celebration which is only a couple of weeks away now.

Although this kind of game isn’t one I usually enjoy, I’ve always meant to give Jedi: Fallen Order a shot. Those that have played raved about the game to me. I guess I’ve just never found the time to get into it. My limited gaming hours have been spent on other games instead.
