Star Wars: LEGO Sets Confirm Rumors For The Last Jedi

LEGO sets have a history of spoiling aspects of movies, or revealing details that filmmakers would have preferred to keep hidden. Obviously, due to manufacturing times, often these things have to be ready far in advance of the movie releasing so that when it does, you can go watch the film, then take your child to the shop and buy the various toy sets on your way back home.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is no different, we have already had confirmation of the rumors about Kylo Ren’s star ship revealed through a toy listing and now some LEGO sets have appeared online which confirm a lot of the rumors and leaks previously revealed by Making Star Wars and shared by us with you.

We cannot post the pictures here as LEGO would be most unhappy with that, but you can go here to Reddit and see the images, albeit in low quality.

The main things to take from here are as follows:

Snoke wearing a golden robe, gorilla head new design for walkers, design for Resistance bombers, First Order BB Units, and Poe Dameron having been promoted. All of these rumored design,s and plot points, have been confirmed by the LEGO sets. When added to the other confirmations we have had through toy listings, and more recently the Vanity Fair piece which we have picked apart, it adds a lot of positive evidence for the validity of the leaks provided to the outlet. This means that we can upgrade most of the articles we have published under rumor, and possible leaks to confirmed leaks.

Overall, this gives us a much better idea of many pieces of the puzzle that is The Last Jedi, but…it’s worth noting that despite these leaks we still know almost nothing about this movie. We have no idea what Luke’s motivations are, who Rey really is, what Snoke is up to, what the undercover mission Finn and Rose go on entails, etc.

Even if it seems like a lot of big details are being revealed, there are still a lot of surprises left for us to discover. Although, with the amount of merchandise that’s currently being developed by companies across the globe, it’s bound to start revealing more and more to us as we get closer to the movies release on December 15.

What do you think of these now confirmed rumors? Let us know in the comments section below.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
